Brite Lites was founded in 1993 by Kevin Bluhm, whose passion for powersports began at a young age riding snowmobiles throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. That passion eventually led Kevin to own a Polaris dealership, where he sold the same machines he grew up riding.

After selling the dealership, Kevin founded Brite Lites to continue doing what he loved—bringing innovative aftermarket parts and accessories to powersports enthusiasts.

In December 2023, Kevin sold Brite Lites to BBP Inc. (Big Bike Parts) in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, carrying the Brite Lites tradition forward with a company that has served the powersports aftermarket since 1983.

Today, Brite Lites combines more than 30 years of brand heritage with BBP's more than 40 years of powersports experience. Through it all, our commitment remains simple: deliver great products backed by the best customer service in the world.

While Kevin is now retired from Brite Lites, he remains involved as an advisor and continues to share his decades of powersports knowledge. You may even catch him at a Parts Unlimited Trade Show, helping train Regional Account Managers and staying connected to the industry he has been passionate about his entire life.
